Day 5

Yesterday was not so good.  I ordered pizza again.  😦  I wanted to cry after I was done.  But as always, I got up this morning and started again.  I just don’t know how to over come the cravings.

Today I am having a drink I made purely by accident.  Check out the video I made this morning at my youtube channel.

Tuesday is grocery shopping day so i need to get to Whole Food for some really great veggies and fruits.  Not much to say today, after all it is only 9am in the morning.  hahahaha  I will make a video of my shopping so you can follow me as I get it done.

Well, I wanted to share with you that I have started posting videos on youtube.  I am seeking outlets to get support for this journey.  I hope you stop by and subscribe to my channel.  I will post videos of my drinks as I make them and talk about the pitfalls I face each day while juicing and of course life as an Armywife and nursing student.  Here is my first one, check it out.


Seeking Support


As you all know my husband is in the Army.  He is going to another Post and he wants me to be there with him.  It is a temporary duty station so I was not sure if I should go.  He will be there for about 2 1/2 months.  I would have to pack up the house and put our things in storage for that time to afford living there with him.  The Army is not going to pay for me to go with him.  We can not afford to pay for the house and pay for a long-term stay hotel.  What do you think?  Should I put our things in storage and move there with him or should I just waited out?


He says he needs me.  We have not lived in the same house in a year now and he says it is effecting him so I was thinking about going.  It would be an adventure for us both and I may never get an opportunity to see that state again.  I just need help in making this discussion by the end of the week……HELP!

Day 4 of Juice Fast

So the day started out pretty good.  I go up and had my green drink and then I had a hot lemon and ginger drink.  I was doing fine.  Around 9pm I got a craving for something.  I ended ordering Pizza from Pizza Hut.  I am so sad and unhappy with myself.  I ate half the Pizza before going to bed.  I feel like a failure.  😦

Today I am planning to over come my weakness with food.  I’ve got to do better.  I just need support and I don’t have any.  Not sure what today will be but so far so good.  I went for a walk around 5am and I am drinking my lemon and ginger hot water.  I pray I stay strong today.  If you can post some encouragement for me, I need all the help I can get.  On to Day 5……Oh no real weight lost yet, I guess I have hampered myself by eating.

Day 3

Today was the best day every!  I got up and had my Mean Green juice.

Mean Green
2 apples, handfuls of spinach, parsley
3 ribs of celery, 1 small piece of ginger, 1/2 cucumber, and a small lemon and lime

After that I had a glass of water and some nuts, (uncooked and salted) they were really good.  After that I had a smoothie for lunch

Banana apple mango orange

Then I had a wonder salad that I mad avocado dressing for, that was the best. 


Later I had another Mean Green juice.  I am full and not feeling hungry at all.  I feel like I will make it through the night without eating.  I went walking for about a mile and I did some baking for a friend.  I thought I would have cravings for some of the baked good but I did not, in fact, I tasted a cooking to be sure it was good and I did not enjoy it at all.  The cookie was very good but my taste for it has changed.  I am so proud of myself today.

Day 2 of Juicing

Well today did not go as well.  I had a mean green and two fruit juice today.  I also ate some food.  :(.  I got to say it is much better for me if I don’t have other foods in the house.  I am getting rid of the food that is not juicing.  I can’t have it and stick to this.


My juice today was

2 celery stalks

2 leafs of kale

1 green apple

1 small tomato

1 slice of ginger

1/2 lemon


1 Banana

3-4 strawberries

1 med. mango

1/2 cup OJ


Fruit drink. Lunch and Dinner

I also at Lean Gourmet Five cheese Lasagna.  This was my bad thing today.  Oh and I added some cheese to the 5 cheese lasagna.  I will do better tomorrow.  I went walking today but not much after that.  Hoping tomorrow is better.
